Pricing
Flat pricing, per product.
Free checks from four regions; Business checks from every region we run (ten). Pick the monitor count you need, pay one flat price, and change plans whenever you want. No per-check metering, on any tier.
One signup covers all four. Every account starts on the free tier of Status, Monitor and Errors, plus the outage tracker, which is free to read: nothing to add, nothing to enable. Upgrade whichever product outgrows its free limits, on its own, whenever you want.
Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro, no card. When the trial ends you choose a plan or stay on Free; nothing you set up is deleted.
Founding customers: the first 20 paying customers get 50% off their first plan for as long as they keep it, monthly or yearly. It is applied at checkout, with no code.

RealUptime Monitor
Watch your own servers, privately.
Monitor is a separate product with its own plans. You install a small agent on each server; it checks services behind your firewall and reports CPU, memory, load and disk, and none of it appears on a public page unless you put it there.
Monitor Free
$0
No card required
For a homelab, a side project, or the first server you want to stop guessing about.
Install the agent and watch your own machines, free forever.
- 5 servers
- 14 days of history
- CPU, memory, load and disk, with charts
- Checks against private targets behind your firewall
- Disk and memory threshold alerts
- Alerts by email, Slack, PagerDuty, webhooks, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Opsgenie, incident.io, FireHydrant and Zapier

Monitor Business
$48.99/mo

For a fleet big enough that a year of history is how you answer questions.
Forty servers and a full year of history, on top of everything in Pro.
- 40 servers
- 1 year of history
- Everything in Monitor Pro
- Browser checks, up to 10
- Extra servers at $1.50 per server per month
RealUptime Complete: pay for plans on any two RealUptime products and we take 15% off both, automatically. There is no code to enter, and it stacks with paying yearly.
Vendor watchlist add-on: on top of any paid Monitor plan, watch services from our outage catalog and get alerts through your existing channels when one reports an incident on its own status page, and again when it reports it resolved; for a service with no status feed we can read, when our checks of it fail from two or more distant regions, and again when they pass. $11.99/mo or $119.90/yr, flat. Watching up to 100 vendors is an internal fairness cap on our probe capacity, not part of the price.
RealUptime Errors
Error tracking that never lies about a count.
Errors is a separate product with its own plans. Drop in the JS/Node, Python, Ruby or Go SDK and get grouped issues, releases, and alerts, with PII scrubbed before it leaves your process. If we ever drop an event, at quota or anywhere else, the count and the reason are on your dashboard.
Errors Free
$0
No card required
For a side project or the first app you want honest error counts on.
Real error tracking for a small production app, free forever.
- 10,000 events a month
- 14 days of retention
- JS/Node, Python, Ruby and Go SDKs, PII scrubbed by default
- Grouping, releases, and alerts on your existing channels
- At 10,000 events a month, new events are refused and counted where you can see it, never billed

For a team whose app has real traffic and real on-call.
Ten times the events and a quarter of retention, on top of everything in Free.
- 100,000 events a month

- Optional overage: $0.50 per 1,000 events past your plan, capped by a budget you set. Off unless you turn it on.
Errors Business
$58.99/mo
or $589.90/yr, 12 months for the price of 10

Three quarters of a million events and half a year of retention.
- 750,000 events a month
- 180 days of retention
- Everything in Errors Pro
- Optional overage: $0.50 per 1,000 events past your plan, capped by a budget you set. Off unless you turn it on.
RealUptime Complete: pay for plans on any two RealUptime products and we take 15% off both, automatically. Pay for all three and it becomes 20% off everything. There is no code to enter, and it stacks with paying yearly.

Pricing FAQ
Billing, cancellation, and limits.
Do I need a separate signup or plan for each product?
No. One signup covers all four. Every account starts on the free tier of Status, Monitor and Errors at once, and the outage tracker is public and free for everyone, so there is nothing to add or enable. When one product outgrows its free limits you upgrade that product on its own, and the others stay free until you decide otherwise. Pay for any two of Status, Monitor and Errors and RealUptime Complete takes 15% off; pay for all three and it takes 20%.
What happens if I go over my monitor or subscriber limit?
Free is a hard limit of 10 monitors. Pro includes 25 and Business includes 150. Paid plans can go past their included count at $0.50 per extra monitor per month, up to 75 extra monitors on Pro and 450 on Business, instead of being blocked. New status page subscribers stop being accepted once you hit your plan's subscriber allowance (100 on Free, 1,000 on Pro, 10,000 on Business). Everything you already have keeps running normally; nothing is paused or deleted for being over a limit you were previously under. Upgrade or free up room to add more.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing is 12 months of access for the price of 10, on Pro, Business and MSP. Pay once a year and skip two months of charges compared to paying monthly, same plan, same features.
What is the MSP plan, and what exactly is pooled?
The MSP plan is for agencies and managed service providers running status pages for many clients: $199 a month or $1,990 a year on the account that runs your organization. Each client keeps its own account, status pages, branding and custom domain, and gets everything in Business without a paid plan of its own. Pooled across the whole organization: 450 monitors, a hard cap with no overage, and unlimited team members. Per client account, not pooled: unlimited status pages, 10,000 subscribers, the 30-second check interval and 90 days of public history. Your team's managers can open every client as an admin, and every switch is recorded in that client's audit log.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my plan?
Open Billing from your account settings and pick Free, or use the billing portal from the same page. Either way, cancellation stops future renewals only: you keep your paid plan's full access through the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops to Free. Nothing is deleted or downgraded early, and you can keep your plan any time before it ends.
Is pricing metered by checks, requests, or API calls?
No. Every plan is a flat monthly or annual price for a fixed allowance: monitors and subscribers on Status, servers on Monitor, error events on Errors. There is no per-check, per-request, or per-API-call charge; run your monitors at a 1-minute interval all month and the plan price does not change. The usage-based charges are extra monitors beyond a paid Status plan's included count, billed per monitor per month, extra Monitor servers beyond your plan's allowance, billed per server per month, and Errors overage, which is off until you turn it on and stops at the monthly budget you set.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, any time, in either direction, from Billing in your account settings. Moving between paid plans, and changing your billing period, takes effect right away, with the difference prorated on your next invoice. Moving down to Free takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep the plan you paid for until then and can change your mind at any point before it ends. Nothing about your existing monitors, status pages or team is deleted when you switch; only the allowances and paid-tier features (custom domains and monthly SLA reports) turn on or off.
What happens when the Pro trial ends?
The account moves to Free unless you have chosen a plan. Monitors past Free's allowance are paused, the oldest keep running, checks slow to Free's fastest interval, and a status page on your own domain stops serving there. Nothing is deleted, you get an email three days before and another when it happens, and choosing a plan at any point keeps everything as it is.
Does the Free plan need a credit card?
No. Every new account starts with 14 days of the Pro plan, with no card on file. When that ends the account stays on Free for as long as you want, unless you choose a plan. Free is not a trial: it has no clock and needs no billing details.
What happens to my status page if RealUptime shuts down?
RealUptime is a small, founder-run company, so it is a fair question, and the answer is that leaving is built to be cheap. Everything you put in comes back out from a button in account settings, in JSON and CSV, with no ticket: checks, status pages, incident history and subscriber lists. A custom domain is a DNS record you control, so pointing it at another host keeps the address your customers already use. Plans are flat and can be paid monthly, so no contract term holds you. No wind-down is planned. The no lock-in page lists exactly what the export covers. Every release is dated on the public changelog at realuptime.io/updates, so you can see the product is being worked on.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
Not yet, and we do not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI certification. We have not started a SOC 2 audit; it is a goal for once the business is at a scale that justifies the cost, not a project in progress today. See our security page for the controls that exist right now.
Do all plans check from all regions?
Free checks from 4 regions, Pro from 8, and Business from every region we run (10). A monitor defaults to every region its plan includes and can be narrowed to fewer per check if you choose to; selecting a region outside your plan is refused with an upgrade prompt rather than silently ignored.
Start free, upgrade whenever you need more.
10 monitors, four regions, no card required to start.
